Mind Right Monday

Mind Right Monday

I hope everyone is having a fabulous Monday! Doesn’t it seem as if the weekend came and went so quickly? I spent most of my weekend purging items from my home. I’m finding that the older I get the less I need things to validate me, so I’ve been getting rid of a lot of things that clutter my home and thoughts. I’m finding that it’s the simple things that make me happy. Don’t get me wrong this girl still loves her bling and glitter. I don’t think that will ever change.

Now, let’s get this week started with the motivational quote below.

This week’s motivational quote is from Karen Kingston, “No matter how many possessions you have, you never feel secure. As soon as you get one thing, there is always something else you “need”.” Material things do not bring you happiness. It’s hard to understand that sometimes because society tries to teach you otherwise.

I love all of your gratefuls, and, I would have to agree that
as I’ve gotten older, I do not seek after material things and that simplicity really is a wonderful thing.

Now, having said that, I still need to purge more in my house. LOL 🙂 I started but, somehow, I keep ordering cute blingy things off Amazon.

Now, clearly you’re a millionaire and that is awesome as I would have ran to the bank with that check. I too shall be a millionaire soon as well.

    Bless You Beautiful Soul

I don’t know which is worst….Amazon, Ebay, or Etsy. They suck me in everytime. I try not to go on those sites but temd to fimd myself there often. Sigh. Girl, the only reason the check hasn’t been deposited it because I’m too lazy to go to the bank. It’s on the other side of town and I don’t want to fight through LA trafic to get there.

We would like to thank you once again for the beautiful ideas you gave Janet when preparing a post-graduate research as well as, most importantly, regarding providing all of the ideas in a single blog post. If we had known of your blog a year ago, we may have been rescued from the unnecessary measures we were implementing. Thank you very much.
