First let’s get the introduction out of the way for those who may not have heard of Ipsy.
Ipsy is a monthly beauty and makeup subscription box. You fill out a survey about your preferences and with a paid subscription, you’re sent a themed bag geared to your preferences. Each month you get 4-5 full size or deluxe-sized products, plus a cute makeup bag. Once you get your bag, you can review your items online and tell Ipsy what you think to earn points that can be redeemed for items. Contents of the bag may vary.
Now for the fun stuff! I like the bag to be a surprise so I stay away from my glam room and spoilers.
What’s in my bag?
I was excited to pull the Be A Bombshell mascara out of the bag because I have been wanting to incorporate a new mascara into my daily routine. Even more excited that this came as a full-sized sample.
I was a little disappointed to see the Marc Anthony Dream Waves Beach Spray. I don’t wear my hair down much and when I do, I tend to go with the bone-straight look. I will be gifting this item to my daughter so it won’t go to waste.
The NYX Butter Gloss lives up to the name, it’s buttery soft and is the perfect gloss for my upcoming Palm Springs vacation. I look forward to wearing it on vacation daily for a more natural makeup look.
I was also excited to see the OFRA Universal Eyebrow Pencil. I have thin brows so I use a combination of powder and pencils to fill in my brows. I look forward to trying to create a perfectly shaped brow.
Realtree for Her is a perfectly delicious sweet-smelling summer scent.I will be ordering a full size as my go-to summer day scent.
The Pretty in Paradise them was a hit for me. Overall, I liked 4 out of 5 items. This month’s bag was worth well more than $10. If you’re thinking about giving this subscription a try, it definitely works the money.
